“Take a Walk in the Badlands of North Dakota” is an exhibit featuring a selection of illustrations from the book of the same name written by Sherry Niesar. Colorful images depicting the flora, fauna and vistas of the beautiful Badlands are rendered in gouache and highlight the information in the children’s book, which will also be available for purchase. A number of other original paintings of the Badlands will also be included in this exhibit.
Member artist Mike LaLonde’ exhibit “Photographic Journeys: Burleigh and Beyond”
will feature landscapes and wildlife images captured by Mike and transferred to wood or canvas for hanging. His exhibit is a perfect compliment to Gordon’s & Niesar’s work.
